Myles Tolliver is a lifelong resident of Gary, Indiana, and a passionate advocate for education, youth development, and community empowerment. With hands-on experience in local schools like Thea Bowman Leadership Academy and Gary Lighthouse Charter School, he has dedicated his career to mentoring youth and building pathways to brighter futures.

As a dedicated track and field coach, Tolliver instills discipline, teamwork, and confidence in his student-athletes—values that also guide his leadership on the City Council.

In 2023, he founded Tolliver Day, an annual event that connects students with colleges, trade schools, and professionals, opening doors to real-world career opportunities and lifelong success.

Now serving as Councilman At-Large, Tolliver is a voice for unity, transparency, and progress. He is committed to revitalizing Gary through opportunity, accountability, and community-driven leadership.
